I’m not your fitness teacher, so why am I saying this? That’s because eating healthy is a good thing not only for yourself, but for your employers as well. Rising health care cost is a very alarming issue and employers suffer it the most. If employers have to think twice before hiring you because you’re overweight.. the odds are against you. What’s worse is you might even get penalized from it! Looking good and staying fit is a good way to give that first impression to customers which can mean sales so why not shape up?
Eating right and working out is a great way to impress others! In order to continue to do something long-term you must do things one step at a time. So many people tried to leap the steps by going way overboard in their eating and workout routine that they get themselves hurt and give up. So do things small and gradually build up over time is the only key to success. Do not fall for those advertisements guaranteeing fast weight lost in 30 days etc.. you’re doing yourself more harm than good. Just do it slowly and gradually.

Push-ups and sit-ups are the easiest since you can do them anywhere and is free! If you have dumbbells tryout which weight is comfortable for you. The key to long term consistency is to do it slowly but surely overtime. Start with a repetition that you know you can do without harming yourself and +1 each week. If after a certain amount of rep. you think is hard to keep up -10 and +1 each two week and see. The thing is to experiment and feel comfortable doing it so you don’t have to take those numbers I stated for granted. The same can be said on going on a diet.. do it slowly and don’t starve yourself to get the results because it won’t last long!
You won’t see results that fast so don’t check the mirror everyday and get discouraged by it! If you see your friends doing the shortcut (gastric bypass or starving themselves) well they will most likely revert back to their old selves sooner or later (or bad health conditions). Being consistent is a guarantee success so stand by it and never lose hope!
