The past shapes the future, for all our past actions leave behind a legacy for us to endure and remember. The past is the key to changing, to evolving. The future is a mystery, but we can get a glimpse of it from how we respond from the past by our present action.
The past can shape the future only if we remember it. For too long, our past are either buried or forgotten, so past mistakes are soon made again. With no legacy, memory or history, we will forever be repeating the same mistakes that has haunted us in the past. To remember is to shape.
