Self sacrifice is the foundation of greatness. It builds upon courage, honor, humility, mercy, kindness and selflessness. Many noble traits are exhibited through self sacrifice, and true character develops through it. It is one of the greatest virtue that a leader can obtain, and very few obtain it. Every small sacrifice is one step closer to greatness for it is the path of great self resistance.
