The power of virtue is what every leaders hope to obtain. Some mistake it for righteousness and other mistake it for benevolence. Virtue is neither righteous nor benevolent for virtue is done without profiting. Without possessing and attaching, virtue is shown and its power will illuminate everyone around it.
Every leader wants the power of virtue for he/she can overcome any obstacles. Followers will do anything to fight for their virtuous leader and everyone will support them as long as they have the power of virtue. Through cultivation and studying of the Tao Te Ching, one will be closer to the power of virtue.
