The strategic planning of the organization rests upon the strategist of the company. It is a charted course of how the organization will run in the years to come. It comes in phases and each phase considers a plan of what needs to be achieved in order to move on to the next.

The strategic plan rests upon on how the organization operates through its mission, goals, culture, leadership, followers, ideals and philosophy. Each of those resonates with the strategic plan since it influences how the plan will be based on those elements.

Based upon the strategic planning, you will need to understand the strengths and weaknesses of your organization. You will also need to know the opportunities that are provided throughout the conditions and timing of the economic times.

The vision of the organization gives birth to the mission. Within the mission, it provides the objectives that need to be met using strategies. In the end, the goal will be satisfied after all the objectives are met throughout the phases in strategic planning. Assessing the opportunities and times beforehand makes you ahead of the curve.

Time, money and opportunities are important in strategic planning as they constantly change, making it hard to adjust and adapt. Assessing and researching the trend and the competition gives you the edge needed to be more in control of those 3 elements.
