Mental Prep: Decisiveness

Being decisive has always been one of the main key components in being a capable leader. Only by being decisive in actions and decisions will things get done even if it is not the best one at times. To be worrying about each decision you choose will make you indecisive. Lacking assertiveness in your decisions will lead you astray.

Distraction from the external and the internal only hinders us. External distractions corrupt us, while internal distractions break us. Materialistic thoughts lead to an unfulfilling path of selfishness. Excessive thoughts lead to obsessive worries. You cannot be decisive when there are such external and internal distractions.

Clear the mind and heart of everything. Then concentrate on your original goal. Let silence and peace guide you as you focus in. Then, will your decision be decisive and clear for people to revel on. Without distractions, your decision becomes clear and your heart and mind ever resolute.

Decisiveness is hard to obtain as the heart and mind will always react to the small changes of your surrounding. The internal and external conflicts restrict us from reaching our potential. Let the word “decisiveness” be engraved in your heart so you will never lose sight of it.
