Lose and Gain

goose on shiny water

As humans, we see gain as victory and lose as defeat. But sometimes we need to lose. In order to be free from bondage, one must lose the things that are holding them back. Whether it is worries, desires or emotions, one gets to enjoy true freedom as they start to lose some of their attachments. Too attached will leave you with openings that will shatter your mind and break your body in the end.

We value on gaining so much that we lost sight on the gains that are harmful to us. When people get too caught up on gaining, they will even put themselves to danger to attain them. Obsessive and excessive behaviors are destructive to yourself and to everyone else you are interacting with. When you gain, you lose something in return. The question is when, where and how. Start losing the things that will change your life forever.

It’s a matter of defining which is liability and which is asset. Sometimes we mistakenly consider liabilities as assets and hang on to them. Like the cash from loans.

That is so true! You can not expect to always win in this life. There are times when certainly you’ll loose it all, but the most important thing is how resilient you are and how you stood up after the fall.
