One of my a!@h#$% friends used to say to me:” god gave us two years & just one mouth”.

It’s one thing to be hearing people speak but listening, that’s something else altogether. & that requires work for some people.

Listen is definitely a learned skill but so is hearing. You can listen to someone but are you really hearing what they are saying.

As you may know we humans have a very short attention span and do not listen 100% when someone is talking to us. I for one know I have this fault and do this, especially when it gets really busy and I am under a lot of pressure. I guess it’s important to realize when one is not listening to what is being said to them and the sort of situations that this can happen in. Then try hard to rectify these situations and improve on one’s listening skills.
