Learn From Past Mistakes

Rarely do people learn from their past mistakes. It becomes worse when a leader fails to do so. If a leader cannot learn from their past mistakes, they cannot learn from their own weaknesses. Leaders that do not learn from their past mistakes are leaders not worth having.

“History keeps repeating itself” because many people don’t learn from their past mistakes. Everyone makes mistake, but learning from them is the only way to self improvement. Not learning your past mistakes or other people’s mistakes will be devastating as a leader.

learn From past mistakes

Leaders have to keep growing, no matter how little. Every mistake they find must be acknowledged and worked on. Mistakes make us improve so knowing and correcting them is crucial. Like they say, you have to fail to succeed. That’s because we learn from past mistakes.

History keeps repeating itself because many people do not learn from past mistakes. Mistakes were meant to be learned in order to avoid repeating them. Embrace your mistakes and learn from them. That is the fastest way to improving yourself

we all know that, but we never learn …some time the temptations are too strong. we often discard the lessons from the past by saying “it simply can’t happen again” ….

The problem is a lot of leaders view admitting a mistake or error as a sign of weakness.

Learning from mistakes requires looking at yourself and taking responsibility for those mistakes. Too many people today don’t do that. It’s always someone else’s fault.

I try very hard to learn from mistakes - taking accountability and responsibility for them. I figure I’m a constant work in progress.

I think castocreations is right; people these days don’t learn from their mistakes because they don’t accept that they made one!

To Everyone- We got to admit to our mistakes no matter how painful or weak you may seem. We must have integrity and sound judgment.

Even trying to “re-engineer” yourself may take a relatively long period of time…
