over here people spend quite big bucks to get booths at the Chinese New Year flower market. The market draws huge huge crowds that do not come to shop for flowers only … And the huge crowd makes sure you stay long
For many this market is the only time in a year they actually sell something, but there are also many regular shop owner renting stalls there to make an advantage of the large crowd
Many companies are doing this, over the last 10 years or so every single serious and not so serious holiday has been commercialized
Biz- Chinese New Year flower market can be pretty huge. My family and relatives bought some of those flowers during the New Year… and they are not cheap!
