Having Integrity for Your Business

stacks of 100 euro bills

Do the bosses you know still have integrity? It seems a lot of bosses these days have lost their integrity as their ambition of seeking more riches blinded them. Worse, as a boss starts losing his/her integrity, the officers and employees will follow suit. When the boss starts going corrupt, so will the followers.

Making money is fine, but losing integrity just to make more will eventually backfire. The money you make today by sacrificing integrity; you will suffer for it later on. Worse as a boss, you not only corrupted yourself, but the people who followed you and even your business partners. Corruption spreads like wildfire, and without integrity, everything will eventually collapse.

The boss sets an example, a role model to the company. Every action you take influences them. The business strategy here is to keep integrity rather than to cast it away. Having integrity builds a foundation to your business and an everlasting good reputation to your name. If you shed your integrity, you are sacrificing big, for gaining something small.

It may be hard for some to hold on to their integrity as the power of temptation can make people shortsighted. Integrity is not something easy to hold onto, but not having it will come back at you ten-fold. In the end you will lose more than you gain whether it will be riches, fame, family or friends.
