Forgive and Forget

Forgive and Forget

For too long, many leaders who hold grudges and hatred end up destroying their own life and businesses. These feelings are holding them back, making them less capable as a leader. Leaders must be forgiving in order to attract men of talents and display their virtues. Heavy emotions from grudges will affect one’s mind and health, limiting one’s opportunities and successes in life.

By letting go of grudges and hatred, it will be the first step into surpassing oneself. If one has trouble in forgiving then try to forget it. Forget is another pathway to forgive, for how can one hold grudges when one have forgotten the reason for their hatred? At times you must forgive old enemies and rivalries in order to see through the opportunities and successes ahead. Forgive and forget to surpass your current self.

Hatred is like a cancer. Often undetected, but slowly consuming. It dilutes people’s ability, without them realizing..

Easier said than done…not everyone was born magnanimous.

Even to develop magnanimity in a man takes years, yours truly has yet to forgive nor forget those who had given him hell in the not so distant past.

& there’s someone who’s not willing to forgive & forget what yours truly did as well…

What do the Jews say,”forgive but never forget”?

    Perhaps time is the remedy.

I agree- I have many faults but not holding grudges is one of them. I really make an effort to not stay mad for long. It robs one of creative energy and puts the focus on negative behaviors. I don’t like how it feels, I can feel grudges in the body.

FYI I kept forgetting to subscribe to your blog but I did remember today and put you in my Google reader- now I won’t miss a post.

This is an area that I’ve almost conquered. For the most part, I’m able to regroup and course correct pretty quickly without seething. Great post and thanks for pointing out the virtues of forgiveness.
