Have you been using these forbidden words in business? For a company to thrive there needs to be teamwork, yet teamwork is usually tossed out the window and everyone is left to fend for themselves when situations arise. When the tough gets going, most employees will just care for themselves and will not cooperate or even help their teammates because it will drag them down.
This kind of mentality shows that there is no teamwork and will doom to fail. When you as a leader start hearing these words being spoken by yourself or your teammates, it is an indicator that there is not teamwork and that you need to assess yourself and the team to fix the broken teamwork that will harm the company.
These forbidden words destroy morale and will kill the team and the business. If you or your teammates ignore or turn around when a team member needs help or answers for a problem, it is just as bad. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. You may fire or boot out the weakest link, but that shows you don’t know what a true leader is and you don’t understand what teamwork is to begin with. If you catch anyone saying these words, you need to reassess the team.
