The worst thing to do is to not deliver on the promise you had already made. It is like being a liar, where all forms of trust and respect is lost through mere words. Reputation is at stake from any form of promise.
To promise to is deliver without fail. To be a man of your word creates the greatest trust and respect for both words and deeds are proven. Words shape the perception of man for we judge from what we hear and see from it.
