29. Deck the tree with false blossoms

This phrase means to deceive the eyes of the beholder. You can take it literally, where one deck a dead tree with beautiful fake blossoms to make something worthless look valuable. Faking what is a threat as a safe zone, no use of use, hard as easy and you will be able to deceive the eyes of the enemies. This will make your enemies fall for baits and lures for an easier and quicker victory.
Through disguising, you can fool the enemy to lower their guard in order to come out on top. Deceive the enemy so that the confusing looks obvious, fast as slow and that the strong as weak will be their undoing. This stratagem will delay the enemy as they try to figure out what is going on and weaken their morale as their enterprise start to struggle from within under pressure and confusion. That is what it means to “deck the tree with false blossoms“.
