Dangers of Criticism

People like to criticize, and doing so wears down the self esteem of the criticized. It is a quick solution out of anger but a long term problem for yourself and others. As a leader, criticizing can lead to their downfall as it doesn’t inspire but leads to self doubt and hatred of others.

Criticizing is harsh, and wounds the heart through an invisible knife that comes from the mouth. A leader’s actions must be careful, but their words must be even more careful. It is easy to heal externally, but hard to heal internally. That’s why mental scars like criticism leave a deep wound within the heart that can last a lifetime.

Words are dangerous, so it has to be said with caution. Words can either inspire or lead to despair. What distinguishes the good and the bad is through the words they use.  A leader that can only criticize will be hated by all, and that is not a leader at all. Choose your words wisely next time or face the consequences.
