Ma Liang- “Broad consultation makes one wise, one-sided consideration makes one blind.” This is a really powerful old saying that is so true because many leaders neglect broad consultation during decision making. Instead, most leaders will do one sided consideration which makes them vulnerable. This can become a disaster because it is one-sided so there are bound to be many loop holes, mistakes and errors. Seek counsel from many before making a decision.

Some leaders are too confident in their decision making skills that they deemed consultation useless.
It also exposes their ego to attacks. These are autocrat freaks.
