It is easy to add a word, but hard to retract a word. Words can scar a person for life, for it wounds the mind, heart and soul of an individual. Like an invisible blade, it inflicts internal wounds that is unseen but deadly. Wise is it to be cautious in your words, for what you offended today through speech, will become a misfortune for you in the near future.
Words can easily offend others through loose lips which many fools suffer repeatedly. You can’t take back what you said for it has been sealed through time. Making the trivial become important is a loss of words, for foul words are spewed in lightning speed that can’t be retracted. We all despise ugliness, and there is no better way to expose it than through the mouth.
To the fool, the mouth is a curse for they easily offend others. To the wise, it is a blessing where they can empower others. Rather than lean on the former which is a curse, better is it to use the latter and become a saint. The art of words is in knowing what to say, so as to not offend but befriend. Think before you speak, for many spoke too soon for their own good.
